expected, become west late this afternoon with isolated gusts to

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.

...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 29 knots from the west
with gusts up to 47 knots. The largest significant waves will
be 4 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 5 feet.

* WHERE...Lake St Clair.

* WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 7 PM EDT Friday
with the largest waves expected around 8 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low to medium confidence in a period of
storm force gusts between 4 PM and 9 PM today. A short fused
upgrade to a Storm Warning is possible as observations warrant.
