* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Fall Creek at the edge of SR 238 at gaging
site near Fortville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:45 PM EDT Friday was 9.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Indiana, including the following
counties, Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, Marion and Tipton.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated and some streams remain out of
their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1001 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between
2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Brandywine Creek, Fall Creek, Mud Creek, Pipe Creek, Sand
Creek
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville,
Lawrence, Greenfield, Alexandria, Westfield, Cumberland,
Cicero, McCordsville, Pendleton, Fortville, Chesterfield,
Ingalls, Lapel, Edgewood, Frankton and Arcadia.
