Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rapidly falling temperatures will cause flash freezing conditions early this morning including the possibility of ice forming on roads. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST /MIDNIGHT CST/ TUESDAY... * WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches with locally higher snow amounts of 6 inches, especially in southwest Michigan. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow accompanied by greatly reduced visibilities in the heavier snow bands.. * WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult with snow covered roads with drifts across roads, especially in rural areas. The hazardous conditions could impact travel throughout the day. Strong winds could cause tree damage and isolated power outages. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
