Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 800 PM CDT, Local law enforcement reported flooded roads and viaducts in Chicago. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Naperville, Cicero, Hammond, Gary, Evanston, Bolingbrook, Skokie, Des Plaines, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Glenview, Elmhurst, Lombard and Ohare Airport. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...La Salle, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, and Northern Cook Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
