...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois, including the following counties, in north central Illinois, Boone, De Kalb, Lee, Ogle and Winnebago. In northeast Illinois, Lake IL and McHenry. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 842 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rockford, Waukegan, Crystal Lake, Gurnee, Round Lake Beach, McHenry, Belvidere, Woodstock, Zion, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Grayslake, Libertyville, Round Lake, Dixon, Antioch, Wauconda, Roscoe, Fox Lake and Harvard. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
