This will affect several riverside roadways as well as several park and recreational facilities. Further downstream flooding is expected in low lying sections along the Connecticut River from Wethersfield and Glastonbury downstream through Cromwell, Middletown and Portland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Sunday afternoon and continue rising to 16.6 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood &&

A portion of this roadway will likely be closed. This includes the Exchange Club of Portland Fairgrounds. Boating interests should prepare for a period of swift river flows during this period. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:55 AM EDT Friday the stage was 6.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 6.4 feet late this evening.
