...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 8 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...West winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 to 55 mph expected. * WHERE...Litchfield County, the mid-Hudson Valley and southern Taconics. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 8 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and scattered power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A line of showers and isolated thunderstorms will rapidly track across the region from west to east this evening. Winds will quickly shift to the northwest and strengthen. While the strongest winds will likely only last for a short window (2 to 4 hours) tonight, these winds could result in downed tree limbs and scattered power outages. Gusty winds will continue through the early morning hours on Thursday but will gradually weaken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
