* WHAT...West winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas
2 to 4 feet expected.

* WHERE...Long Island Sound east of Orient Point and the
Connecticut River, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet
through Shinnecock Bay.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 6 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The small craft advisory that was in effect
for early today was cancelled as wind gusts are well below small
craft advisory thresholds. The wind gusts return to small craft
advisory levels on Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
