* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Colorado.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust could reduce visibility
to under a mile at times.  Be especially careful near recently
plowed lands or locations with disturbed soils.  Visibility can
change rapidly over short distances.

232, 233, 234, 235, 236, AND 237...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 220, 221, 222, 225, 226,
227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236 and 237.

* WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...In zones 220 and 221...as low as 11 percent.
In zones 222 and 225 through 237...as low as 8 percent.

* IMPACTS...Extreme fire danger is expected. Fires will
uncontrollably spread and be very destructive.

...AIR QUALITY HEALTH ADVISORY FOR WILDFIRE SMOKE FROM 400 PM
FRIDAY UNTIL 900 AM SATURDAY...

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has
issued the following...

WHAT...Air Quality Health Advisory for Wildfire Smoke.

WHERE...Kit Carson, Cheyenne, Kiowa, Crowley, Otero, Bent, Prowers
and Pueblo Counties. Locations include, but are not limited to
Burlington, Cheyenne Wells, Eads, Ordway, La Junta, Las Animas,
Lamar and Pueblo.

WHEN...400 PM Friday March 13 to 900 AM Saturday March 14

IMPACTS...Lingering wildfire smoke will impact the advisory area
through early Saturday morning. Heaviest smoke will likely be
located along the lower Arkansas River Valley, including Las
Animas and Lamar.

HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: If smoke is
thick or becomes thick in your neighborhood you may want to remain
indoors. This is especially true for those with heart disease,
respiratory illnesses, the very young, and older adults. Consider
limiting outdoor activity when moderate to heavy smoke is present.
Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and is
making you ill. If visibility is less than 5 miles in smoke in
your neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.
