LARIMER...BROOMFIELD AND BOULDER COUNTIES UNTIL 2 AM MDT...

At 116 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a snow squall along a line
from near Riverside Reservoir to near Carter Lake, or along a line
from 22 miles west of Fort Morgan to 19 miles southwest of Fort
Collins, moving south at 30 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Greeley, Thornton, northeastern Westminster, Boulder, Longmont,
Broomfield, Commerce City, Northglenn, Brighton, Lafayette,
Windsor, Evans, Louisville, Erie, Superior, Firestone, Denver
International Airport, D.I.A Terminal and Concourses and Johnstown.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this snow squall.

Interstates 25 and 76 and Highway 85.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this snow
squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads are

* WHAT...North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, including
Greeley, the Denver metro, Palmer Divide, and the eastern plains.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM MDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. Blowing dust could reduce visibility to
less than a mile in places.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
