* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and
pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to
higher ground. Water approaches low lying roads on west side of
river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 24.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this afternoon and continue falling to 11.8 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
