Flood Advisory

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM AKST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Ward Lake near areas near the Ward Lake recreational area. * WHEN...Until 300 PM AKST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 445 PM AKST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain across the advisory area. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly, especially near Ward Lake. Between 1.5 and 2.0 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3.0 inches are possible. - For Lake Connell Dam: At 8:00am Tuesday morning the stage was 251.8 feet. Flood Stage is 252.0 feet.
