Occasional heavy snowfall can cause traffic problems.; What happens?: From Wednesday evening, a snowfall area is expected to move in from the west. The snowfall will be heavy at times and a total of 10-15 cm of snow is expected, locally up to 20 cm. Closer to the coast and around Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern, it can also be windy at times in the south with strong gusts. On Thursday morning, the snowfall will slowly begin to subside, but locally, snow flurries may linger.; What should I think about?: Travel times may increase due to slippery roads, poor visibility and blowing snow behind vehicles. Allow more time for your journey and adjust your speed to road conditions and visibility. It can be difficult to travel due to snow on roads, traffic accidents or vehicles that are stuck. There is a risk of delays or canceled departures in public transport. At temperatures close to zero degrees, there is a risk of disturbances in electricity and telecommunications networks in areas with overhead lines.; Where?: Northwest Götaland and southwest Svealand; Comments: Near the coast, temperatures are expected to be around zero degrees and the snow may be heavy and wet, or have elements of rain. Heavy snow showers.; What happens?: During Tuesday, snow showers are expected to pass, becoming heavy at times. A total of 10-20 cm is expected, locally 30 cm. On Wednesday afternoon, the snow showers will slowly begin to decrease in intensity, but it may continue to snow for the rest of Wednesday.; What should I think about?: Travel times may increase due to slippery roads, poor visibility and blowing snow behind vehicles.
