Rain and gusty winds expected today.

Locations: most of New Brunswick.

Total rainfall: 20 to 45 mm, with locally higher amounts possible.

Maximum wind gusts: east to southeasterly 60 km/h along the east coast.

Time span: Rain and gusty winds will spread eastward across the province this morning and then taper from later this afternoon or evening.

Remarks: Rainfall warnings are in effect for southern parts of the province.

Clear storm drains and gutters of leaves and other debris prior to the rainfall to help reduce flooding. Secure outdoor items, including Halloween decorations and garbage bins, to prevent them from being displaced or damaged by strong winds.
