...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS... The areas affected include... Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N... Coastal Waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and just north of Culebra and Saint John... Coastal Waters from Cabo San Juan to the waters between Anegada Island and Virgin Gorda and North 10 NM... Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM... At 1257 AM AST, Doppler radar and satellite imagery indicated a cluster with strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorm were located between the coastal waters of eastern PR, Vieques and Culebra and across the Atlantic Offshore Waters, moving northwest at 10 to 20 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. &&
