...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...All of Puerto Rico. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. Landslides in areas of steep terrain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Moisture content will remain high through at least this evening across the region. The potential for heavy rainfall over extremely saturated soils continues as more thunderstorms are expected to develop through the rest of the early morning hours, and once again in the afternoon hours. Therefore, the Flash Flood Watch was extended through at least 8 PM this evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
