Locally heavy blowing snow is expected from night to Sunday. Sunday afternoon there will be temporary calm wind conditions, before the wind increases again Sunday evening.

Extreme gusts of wind are expected locally around 38-42 m/s from southwest and later from a westerly and northwesterly direction, and violent storm 11 to hurricane force 12 at the coast.

From Sunday morning southeasterly up to gale force 8, veering southerly and decreasing Sunday forenoon. From Sunday afternoon increasing to  west or northwest storm force 10, possibly violent storm force 11.  Late Sunday afternoon gradually decreasing to occasionally strong gale force 9.

Early Sunday morning increasing to south near gale, force 7, later southwesterly gale, force 8. From late in the forenoon southwesterly storm, force 10, in the afternoon slightly decreasing.
