...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TUESDAY TO 9 AM AKST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Breaking waves of 5 to 9 feet. West-southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 30 to 45 mph. * WHERE...Kachemak Bay, including the south side of Homer Spit. * WHEN...1 AM Tuesday through 9 AM Wednesday. * IMPACTS...1 AM Tuesday through 9 AM Wednesday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water and light debris (such as small rocks) may wash over portions of the Homer Spit Road. Minor beach erosion is possible. Temperatures below freezing may lead to the accumulation of ice on cold surfaces due to freezing spray. The worst conditions are expected during the Tuesday afternoon high tide cycle. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
