* WHAT...Blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3
inches possible in isolated bands of snow. Winds gusting as high
as 45 mph.

* WHERE...SW Kenai Peninsula and Southern Kachemak Bay.

* WHEN...Until noon AKST today.

* IMPACTS...The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous. If you must travel, keep
an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TUESDAY TO 9 AM AKST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Breaking waves of 5 to 9 feet. West-southwest winds 20 to
30 mph with gusts of 30 to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Kachemak Bay, including the south side of Homer Spit.

* WHEN...1 AM Tuesday through 9 AM Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...1 AM Tuesday through 9 AM Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water and light debris (such as small
rocks) may wash over portions of the Homer Spit Road. Minor
beach erosion is possible. Temperatures below freezing may lead
to the accumulation of ice on cold surfaces due to freezing
spray. The worst conditions are expected during the Tuesday
afternoon high tide cycle.

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area, producing rip currents and localized beach
erosion.
