Winds gusting as high as 35 mph in southern Kachemak Bay. * WHERE...SW Kenai Peninsula and Southern Kachemak Bay. * WHEN...Until 6 AM AKST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Expect icy conditions to develop throughout the day as wet roadways freeze and snow accumulates. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A gradually cooling airmass will transition rain to heavy wet snow this morning.
