* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 kt with frequent gusts up to 30 kt
and seas 8 to 12 feet.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters of Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A monsoon surge flowing into Typhoon Choi-wan
will maintain moderate to fresh winds with near-gale gusts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.

...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON ALONG NORTH,
WEST AND SOUTH FACING REEFS...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 7 to
10 feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk,
dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...North, west, and south facing reefs of Guam, Rota, Tinian
and Saipan.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated swells coming from the southwesterly
monsoon surge and Typhoon Choi-wan (26W) to the north will allow
advisory-level surf and a high risk of rip currents to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions. Rip currents will be life threatening. If
caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the
current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If
unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
