...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CHST MONDAY... * WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 8 to 11 feet. * WHERE...Marianas Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 5 AM ChST Monday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Moderate to strong westerlies prevail across the Marianas over the weekend as another resurgence in the monsoon builds, likely to maintain moderate to strong winds through the middle of next week. Combined seas of 8 to 11 feet are expected over the next few days, remaining hazardous to small craft through at least early next week. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions. &&

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST MONDAY... ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 13 feet and dangerous rip currents expected. * WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, along west and north facing reefs. For the High Rip Current Risk, along west, north, and east facing reefs. * WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Monday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As influence from Typhoon Dolphin on the monsoon pattern decreases, influence from Tropical Storm Chan- Hom and other disturbances will increase. This will keep surf elevated and above hazardous conditions for west and north facing reefs through the weekend. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. &&
