...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST TUESDAY... ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet and dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...West and north facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Tuesday.. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another pulse of the northwest swell is moving through the region. This pulse has elevated the surf to about 10 feet. This is expected to be a short-lived event. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. &&
