After the recent heavy rains, water levels will continue to rise in Latvian river basins, floodplains and low-lying areas becoming more flooded. BE AWARE of the potentially flood-prone areas!  The environment is already overly humid, water is accumulating in the fields and in the lower depressions,  low-lying areas on the banks of water bodies are flooded. Caution should be exercised when moving in flood-prone areas.
