The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 9 AM to 10 PM CDT Thursday.

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Friday morning through Friday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, West Polk, Norman, Clay,
Kittson, Roseau, West Marshall, East Marshall, Pennington, Red
Lake, East Polk, North Clearwater, Mahnomen, South Clearwater,
West Becker, East Becker, Wilkin, West Otter Tail, East Otter
Tail and Grant. In North Dakota, Towner, Cavalier, Pembina,
Benson, Ramsey, Eastern Walsh, Eddy, Nelson, Grand Forks,
Griggs, Steele, Traill, Barnes, Cass, Ransom, Sargent,
Richland and Western Walsh.

* WINDS...Southeast then southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to
55 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 21 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
