Terrebonne, Lower Terrebonne, Lower Lafourche, Coastal
Jefferson Parish, Wilkinson, Lower Plaquemines, Amite, Lower
St. Bernard, Pike, Northern Tangipahoa, Walthall, Southeast
St. Tammany, Western Orleans, Pearl River, Eastern Orleans,
Northern St. Tammany, Southwestern St. Tammany, Hancock,

contribute to extreme fire behavior.

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Waves of
2 to 4 feet in the tidal lakes and seas 6 to 9 ft in the open
Gulf waters.

* WHERE...All of the tidal lakes and open Gulf waters.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the areas along and north of the I-12 corridor in
southeast LA and all of coastal MS, sub-freezing temperatures as
low as 25 expected. For portions of the River Parishes and the
immediate West Bank of the New orleans metro sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 30 are expected.

* WHERE...All of Southern Mississippi and all of Southeast Louisiana
to the west and north of Lake Pontchartrain including portions of
the West Bank of metro New Orleans.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Bring your
