Alberta clipper to bring snow and gusty winds to Nova Scotia today. Locations: eastern and parts of central Nova Scotia. Potential snowfall: 5 to 15 cm, possibly higher over Cape Breton. Strongest wind gusts: up to 70 km/h . Time span: ending this afternoon or evening. Remarks: The highest accumulations are expected over northern mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton into this afternoon. Strong northwesterly winds will also develop this afternoon along with a drop in temperatures, giving blowing snow at times tonight. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
