* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 18 below.

* WHERE...Palo Duro Canyon, Potter, and Randall Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Extreme Cold Warning, until noon CST Sunday.
For the second Extreme Cold Warning, from 9 PM Sunday to noon CST
Monday.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 18 below zero could
result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and
hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these
temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 5 and 9
inches.

* WHERE...Portions of the Panhandle of Oklahoma and the Panhandle of
Texas.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.  In Oklahoma, call
844-465-4997 for road information. In Texas, call 800-452-9292 for
road information.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary, especially on
Saturday night.
