AT THE REQUEST OF OLDHAM COUNTY AND POTTER COUNTY OFFICES OF
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FOR WESTERN POTTER AND EASTERN OLDHAM COUNTIES.

* AT 530 PM CST...A DANGEROUS WILDFIRE WAS LOCATED OVER VALLEY DE
ORO... OR 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF AMARILLO...MOVING RAPIDLY EAST AT
3 TO 5 MPH.

* AREAS IMPACTED... VALLEY DE ORO AND TASCOSA ROAD SOUTHEAST OF BOYS
RANCH. THERE IS A MANDATORY EVACUATION FOR VALLEY DE ORO.

* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...SMOKE AND FIRE WILL PRESENT A THREAT TO
LIFE AND PROPERTY.

Oldham, Palo Duro Canyon, Potter, and Randall Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* WINDS... For today, southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70
mph. For tomorrow, southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50
mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...For today as low as 10 percent. For
tomorrow, as low as 9 percent

* TEMPERATURES...For today in the 70s to low 80s. For tomorrow, in
the 60s to mid 70s.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* SEVERITY...High-end Critical to Critical

Weather Warning for Rick Husband International Airport
and Tradewind Airport for the following hazards...

* WHAT...Southwest winds of 40 knots or greater.

* WHEN...10 AM CST through 6 PM CST.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak wind gusts up to 55 kts is expected
this afternoon, but there is a low chance for peak wind gusts
around 60 kts. Reduced visibility is possible due to blowing
dust, most likely in the afternoon.
