Special Weather Statement
Issued: 2:58 PM Oct. 24, 2026 – National Weather Service
...ADDITIONAL RAIN AND SNOW COULD BRING DIFFICULT TRAVEL
CONDITIONS EARLY NEXT WEEK...

A series of fronts are expected to move across the Interior on
Sunday and Monday. The initial front on Sunday will bring a band
of snowfall across the area. With this first front, light snow
accumulations are expected.

The next front moving across the Interior on Monday will be
accompanied by warmer temperatures, which could bring the
potential for a light rain/snow mix in the valleys and moderate
snow amounts across higher elevations. This could lead to slick
travel conditions, especially during the overnight hours Monday
night into Tuesday when the temperatures could drop below freezing
once again.

Accompanying the second front will be a period of gusty winds
across the higher elevations. This could bring some blowing snow
concerns Monday night/Tuesday morning, which could reduce
visibility to one mile or less.
