gusts up to 30 mph. For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to
109 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and southwest
Louisiana.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening. For the
Heat Advisory, from noon to 7 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot
temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
