* WHAT...For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as
low as   15-25 degrees Sunday morning and 5-15 degrees Monday
morning. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
18  degrees inland and 25 degrees along the barrier islands on
Monday morning.

* WHERE...Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal San Patricio,
Duval, Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland San Patricio, Jim
Wells, Kleberg Islands, Nueces Islands, and Webb Counties.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Saturday evening through
Monday morning. For the Freeze Watch, from late Saturday night
through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Frost and freeze conditions
could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage
unprotected outdoor plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
