...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM AKDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Visibility as low as one half mile. * WHERE...Cordova and Tatitlek. * WHEN...Until 5 PM AKDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow and or snowfall rates of one inch or more per hour in heavier snow showers could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect moderate to heavy snow showers at times early Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon. The combination of snow and wind may result in localized areas of blowing snow that could significantly reduce visibility at times. Snow showers will continue through Thursday night with additional snow accumulations possible. However, winds are expected to diminish by Thursday evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
