...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 6 PM AKST THURSDAY... * WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected. * WHERE...City and Borough of Sitka, Western Kupreanof Island and Kuiu Island and Prince of Wales Island. * WHEN...From 3 AM to 6 PM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects and may damage property and cause power outages. Travel by land, sea, or air will be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is uncertainty around the track of the storm, which would impact forecasted wind speeds.
