Special Weather Statement
Issued: 9:20 PM Oct. 26, 2025 – National Weather Service
...MULTIPLE SYSTEMS EXPECTED THROUGH THE WORK WEEK... A strong low pressure system is forecast to move into the eastern Gulf of Alaska on Tuesday. After that round of wind and rain, additional storm systems are forecast to move into the area Wednesday to the weekend. The current projected track of the additional lows later in the week would suggest that high wind gusts near 60 mph would be likely in the southern panhandle and accumulating snow would be possible along the highways in the northern panhandle. Heavy rain would also accompany the elevated winds across all of southeast Alaska. Stay tuned to the latest forecast, please visit weather.gov/juneau
