...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM AKST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected and periods of wintry mix expected.
Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches. Ice accumulations
up to a trace possible. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...St Lawrence Island.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or less at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind and blowing snow remain the predominant
hazard Friday through Saturday. Increasing temperatures cause the
majority of precipitation to turn to rain late Saturday into
Sunday which may freeze on surfaces. Winds diminish Sunday. Rain
changes back to snow as cold air returns early Monday.
