A strong low will impact the southeastern Gulf, southern coastal waters, and far southern inner channels early Tuesday afternoon through late Tuesday night, bringing sustained Gales with Storm Force gusts to marine areas near the Dixon Entrance, Southern Clarence Strait, and coastal areas around southern Prince of Wales Island. This first storm will begin to lift north and move towards Haida Gwaii through Tuesday afternoon, passing over Haida Gwaii by Tuesday night. The winds around this low will begin to be more easterly as the low approaches through Tuesday night, before the wind is expected to shift to a more northeasterly to northerly direction by early Wednesday morning as the low moves inland.
