...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Very cold temperatures as low as 25 below expected. * WHERE...Anchorage. * WHEN...Until noon AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold temperatures as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. If you do not have heat in your home or lack shelter, you can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from the cold. &&
