...Snow Squalls Still Possible Saturday Night and Sunday... Additional waves of energy moving up the Bering Strait will bring the potential for snow squalls Saturday night through Sunday. Squalls are notoriously quick in nature, but can bring brief heavy bursts of snow and wind gusts up to 35 mph which can reduce visibility below 1 mile at times. Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches is possible over Saint Lawrence Island, with 1 to 4 inches falling over the Western Seward Peninsula between Teller and Wales.
