...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CHST SATURDAY... * WHAT...East winds 15 to 20 kt and seas 8 to 12 feet. * WHERE...Marianas Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 5 PM ChST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A fairly strong and a persistent trade- wind swell will allow seas of 8 to 12 feet to persist through Saturday afternoon. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions. &&

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST SATURDAY... ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet and dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory and High Rip Current Risk, north, east, and south facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 PM ChST Saturday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The trade-wind swell that is producing hazardous surf along north, east, and south facing reefs will persist until Saturday afternoon. Seas and swells look to fall through the day on Saturday and surf looks to fall below hazardous criteria by Saturday evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. &&
