Issued: 4:38 PM Jan. 11, 2026 – National Weather Service
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST TUESDAY...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet and dangerous rip
currents.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, north facing reefs of the
Marianas. For the High Risk of Rip Currents Statement, north and
east facing reefs.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and

around 6 to 7 feet with a period of 8 to 11 seconds as the
primary swell through the rest of the week. Surf may briefly drop
below thresholds of 9 feet for high surf and high rip risk along
north facing reefs and the threshold of high rip risk for east

an extension will be warranted.

should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip

able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
