* WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous
seas 12 to 16 feet. For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds
15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt.

* WHERE...Guam and Rota Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 11 AM ChST
today. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 PM ChST today.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
damage to vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hazardous marine conditions continue in
the wake of Typhoon Sinlaku. Combined seas of 12 to 16 feet will
keep marine conditions hazardous until this morning. Seas will
be slow to subside and Small Craft Advisory winds will continue
into the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.

* WHAT...For the High Surf Warning, dangerously large breaking
waves of 11 to 15 feet. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor
coastal flooding of 1 to 2 feet. For the High Surf Advisory,
large breaking waves of 10 to 14 feet expected. For the High Rip
Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...South, west and north facing reefs and shorelines of
Guam and Rota.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Warning, until 10 AM ChST this morning.
For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 5 PM ChST today. For the
High Surf Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 5 PM ChST Sunday.
For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated
road closures expected. Breaking waves can sweep people off
jetties and docks, and into dangerous seas. Life-threatening
swimming conditions and significant beach erosion can be
expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from
shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As TY Sinlaku continues to move away, the
primary swell and highest surf will be northwest. Seas will be
slow to subside over the next couple of days. Surf heights of
12 to 16 feet are expected for Guam and Rota.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Everyone should remain out of the water due to life-threatening
surf conditions. Stay off of jetties, piers, and other waterside
infrastructure.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
