Information on update: The warning area has been reduced to remove Cumbria and Northumberland. Rain, heavy at times, will continue through Monday before clearing this evening. Including what has already fallen, 40-60 mm of rain is likely quite widely across the warning area by the end of Monday and over 100 mm across some high ground.

Rain is likely to become persistent and heavy at times during Monday through to the early hours of Tuesday. Rainfall totals of 20-30 mm are expected to build up widely with the potential for 40-50 mm in a few areas.
