Information on update: Warning updated to remove southern parts of England where rain and showers have eased. Further details updated. An area of rain, heavy at times, will move northwards during Friday, clearing from the south of the area through the late afternoon and evening. 

A further 5-10 mm is expected quite widely, and a few places may see 15-25 mm. Given the widely saturated ground conditions, some surface water flooding is probable, with difficult driving conditions from spray, flowing water or flooded roads in particular.
