* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet.

* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of a trade surge north of
the area and a developing system along a Near-Equatorial Trough
south and west of the region will help tighten the pressure
gradient, allowing hazardous surf to develop.
