* IMPACTS...An ice jam at Hughes could lead to possible increased
flooding above flooding impacts currently being observed.

- An ice jam continues on the Koyukuk River near Hughes with
flooding impacts ongoing. Public and emergency manager
reports continued flooding in low lying areas, including
impacts to the airport and school property.

* WHERE...Hughes.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- As of 840 PM AKDT, an ice jam remains in place on the Koyukuk
River near Hughes. Impounding water due to the ice jam has
caused water level rises, which has led to flooding of
properties in the lower areas of the community.
