...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Very steep and hazardous seas around 15 ft at 13 seconds
and west winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
damage to vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First ebb current of 3.97 kt at 523 AM
Friday. Seas 12 to 14 ft. Second very strong ebb current of 7.32
kt at 536 PM Friday. Seas 13 to 15 ft. Seas will remain elevated
but not considered hazardous Friday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
