During Sunday very windy with southwesterly wind and very strong gusts to storm gusts.; What happens?: A deep low pressure area named Dave is moving eastward across southern Scandinavia. In connection with this, very windy weather is expected in large parts of northern Götaland and southernmost Svealand on Sunday. In the middle of Sunday, the wind will begin to increase over the West Coast and during the afternoon there is a risk of storm gusts in most of northwestern Götaland and southernmost Värmland, with 25-30 m/s, locally even windier and on the coast in Bohuslän hurricane force. During Sunday evening, the wind also looks to affect northeastern Götaland and Örebro County. During the night towards Monday, the wind will decrease from the west.; What should I think about?: Consider not going out in traffic or be prepared that there is a risk of getting stuck. It can be difficult to travel on roads due to fallen trees and branches. Delays or canceled departures in public transport are likely. Power outages and disturbances in telecommunications networks are likely in areas with overhead lines. Do not go near downed power lines.
