...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southern California, including the following
county, San Bernardino.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 708 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Baker, Sr 127 Near Dumont Dunes, Dumont Dunes, Trona,
Homewood Canyon-Valley Wells and Searles Valley.
- This includes Interstate 15 in California between mile
markers 135 and 166.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

- At 628 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cima, Mitchell Caverns, Kelso, Mid Hills Campground, Black
Canyon Equestrian Campground, Hole In The Wall Campground,
Nipton And Ivanpah Roads, Nipton, Mountain Pass, and Highway
95 north of I-40.
- This includes Interstate 15 in California between mile
markers 167 and 186.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
areas, Apple and Lucerne Valleys, Coachella Valley, Orange County
Coastal Areas, Orange County Inland Areas, Riverside County
Mountains, San Bernardino County Mountains, San Bernardino and
Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San Diego County
Coastal Areas, San Diego County Deserts, San Diego County
Mountains, San Diego County Valleys, San Gorgonio Pass near
Banning and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations,
including low-water crossings. Flooding may occur in poor drainage
and urban areas. There is an increased risk for debris flows near
fire burn scars. Rockfalls and mud possible on mountain highways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A Pacific storm will continue to bring moderate to heavy
rainfall through this afternoon and evening along with a
15-30 percent chance of thunderstorms. The heavy rainfall,
along with periods of higher intensity rainfall, will
increase the risk of flooding, especially over the recently
burned areas.
