- Thunderstorms approaching from northeast - Possible impacts: Breaking of branches, toppling of trees. Lightning strikes and/or damage caused by hail. Landslides on steep slopes, sudden flash flooding of streams and floodings. - Recommendations for action: Stay away from water and avoid mountain ridges and peaks, trees, masts and towers, as well as open terrain (e.g. clearings, football pitches), all of which are at risk of lightning strikes. In open terrain, if lightning strikes nearby, assume a crouched position (with your feet closed) with as little of your body as possible touching the ground (do not lie down flat).

- Warning valid below 800 m a.s.l. - Possible impacts: Significant risk of circulatory problems. - Recommendations for action: Drink (preferably unsweetened) liquids regularly and in sufficient quantities (at least 1.5 litres a day). Protect yourself from direct sunlight (stay in the shade, wear suitable clothing, a hat, sunglasses and sun cream). Allow air to circulate through your home or other buildings before the hot part of the day, i.e. during the night and early in the morning. Avoid vigorous physical activity or compensate for salt loss during or after sport activities. Contact those around you who fall into the risk category and ensure that they are well and able to follow the existing recommendations. Do not leave people or animals unattended in cars.
