Freezing rain is expected to begin Friday morning and continue into the afternoon. Ice accretion of 2 to 5 mm is likely before precipitation changes over to rain Friday afternoon, as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Motorists should expect difficult winter driving conditions and adjust plans accordingly.
